Um Records

Um Records was founded as a vehicle for Benn DeMole's creative work. All the Um Records releases feature him in one or all the following roles: composer, musician, singer, lyricist, producer, audio engineer, art designer.

Since 2006 Um Records has released Benn DeMole's five solo albums and, by the band Assemblage Point one demo CDR, two singles, one album and one EP.

The most recent 2009 releases are:
•Assemblage Point - "Now We Are Three" acoustic versions of four songs from their eponymous debut album. It celebrates the three years since they formed and the addition of third member Catriona.
•Benn DeMole - "Ciudades Del Alma" the album of experimental trip-hop, hip-hop, flip-pop he wrote and recorded whilst living in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
•Benn DeMole - "Nonsilence & Beats Under Heat Vol 2" the second in the series of ambient downbeat soundscapes, these recorded in various places on the planet .

Um Records is also the primary sponsor of the APHID events, which are "fiestavales" (somewhere between a party and festival) dedicated to all things creative and inspiring expression of the creativity we all possess. The most recent, APHID 7, was in Barcelona Spain July 4 2009.
