Um Records is committed to only release music that comes from the soul . The breadth of our catalogue extends from ambient to spoken word, hiphop to dub, world music to electronica, electroacoustic to downtempo grooves.
The Um Records catalogue starts with Benn DeMole's debut 'Eyed Side' and the first in the 'NonSilence & Beats Under Heat' series. Both CDs are available for purchase online and at So Music in Newtown, Sydney.
The first Assemblage Point release 'CDR2006' is a mix of live recordings and studio experiments. Assemblage Point are currently in the studio recording their debut studio album
The forth item in the catalogue is a CDR release of the soundtrack to the 2006 Strings Attached production of 'The Foreign Installation'. 'The Music for the Foreign Installation' is available online and will also be for sale at the A.P.H.I.D Party.

Future releases currently in production include the first of the Spoken Wisdom CDs: 'The Seeds of Personal Growth' by Michael DeMole, Benn DeMole's 'Ciudades del Alma', volumes 2, 3&4 of 'NonSilence & Beats Under Heat', and 'Sumatralia' a CD of music recorded by Rendra Freestone of The Rhythm Hunters in Sumatra, with reworkings, remixes and tunes inspired by the field recordings.
